The Solar Companies that we are currently funding have grown at a rate of 100% in the last 12 months. This growth is due to the Cost of Equipment going down and Electric Utility companies rates going up. This past election, Amendment 1 getting declined in Florida was a major win for small and medium sized solar companies. As a result, this prevented Florida Power & Light (FPL) from creating another monopoly within the solar industry. With that being said, there is a ton of Solar Business going on; 2017 will be a monster year for those who position themselves wisely. With approved financing in place for homeowners, Solar companies are now left with the burden of funding their projects up front as current Lenders do not finance projects until the job is complete. It is our goal at Sparrow Funding Group to purchase those contracts at a discount. These loans are secured, will be processed through our General Contractor, and Contractor liens will be placed on the property if necessary.
